Three Arrested in Burlington Drug Trafficking Investigation
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested three males and laid multiple charges following a drug trafficking investigation in Burlington.
In January of 2026, the HRPS initiated an investigation into drug trafficking that was occurring throughout the Burlington and Hamilton areas.
Over the next two months, utilizing a variety of investigative techniques, investigators were able to identify three suspects who were believed to be involved in a drug trafficking network.
On March 18, 2026, three males were arrested, and members of the 3 District Street Crime Unit executed CDSA search warrants at residences in Burlington in addition to associated vehicles.
As a result of the search warrants the following items were seized.
- Approximately 300 grams of cocaine
- 5 grams of fentanyl
- Over $15,000 in bundled currency
- Assorted jewelry items
- Multiple cellular phones
- Additional indicia of drug trafficking included numerous scales and packaging material
As a result of the investigation:
David Evans (26), of Burlington, has been charged with the following:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - cocaine
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000 (Canadian currency)
Yahya Dhiblawe (25), of Burlington, has been charged with the following:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - cocaine
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000 (Canadian currency)
Jahlique Adamo-Armstrong (24), of Burlington, has been charged with the following:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - fentanyl
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000
- Proceeds of Crime
All were released on Undertakings with a future court date in Milton.
