Report a Traffic Concern

Road safety is a shared responsibility. Learn how to file a traffic concern report to the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) and help us keep our roads safe.

We will review and investigate each Traffic Concern Report received. If a report isn't complete, we will not accept or review the report.

You can file a Traffic Concern Report for:

  • An intersection at which vehicles persistently run a stop sign or red light;
  • A stretch of roadway that has persistent and excessive speeding or racing;
  • A location where there are frequent school bus violations; and
  • A location where vehicles frequently fail to yield for pedestrians or school crossing guards.

The following highways are excluded from reporting to the HRPS as they fall under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP):

  • Queen Elizabeth Way
  • Highway 403
  • Highway 407
  • Highway 401

Visit the OPP website if you would like to file a report about a provincial road or highway.
