Arrest Made in Milton Hobby Shop Entries
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested and charged a Brampton man following a series of break and enters to a business in Milton.
Since May of 2026 Milton Hobbies, located at 621 Main Street East, had been broken into on four separate occasions resulting in property damage to the business and approximately $14,000 dollars in merchandise stolen.
Members of the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau assumed carriage of the investigation and were able to identify a suspect who investigators believe is responsible for three of the entries.
On August 5, 2026, investigators executed two criminal code search warrants at a residence and associated vehicle in Brampton where a male was arrested and multiple remote controlled vehicles and accessories recovered.
As a result of the investigation Sahilpreet Dhaliwal (25), of Brampton, was charged with the following:
- Break and Enter (3 Counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are anticipated.
