MISSING PERSON: BURLINGTON

The Halton Regional Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 13-year old female.

Kierra Cook, 13 years-old, was last seen in the area of Walkers Line north of Upper Middle Road, City of Burlington at approximately 7:30 p.m. on August 7, 2026. She may have taken a taxi to a Burlington Go Station.

Kierra is described as: Female with light to medium brown skin, 5’ 2” tall, slim to medium build. She has pink hair, and brown eyes. She possibly was wearing pajamas, black and pink DC running shoes, and carrying a grey Champion brand back pack. Kierra has a fang shaped piercing on her lower lip and a double piercing on her cheek

Kierra is considered vulnerable and police/family are concerned for her well-being. She may have been heading to the Toronto area.

A recent picture of Kierra is attached and a search for her is underway.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kierra is asked to contact 9-1-1 and/or the Halton Regional Police Service Communications Bureau at 905-825-4747 ext. 5155 or 3 District at 905-825-4747 ext. 2310.

A person can be reported missing at any time – there is no 24 hour waiting period. If you are concerned for someone’s immediate safety, call 9-1-1. Otherwise, you can report a person as missing to the Halton Regional Police Service by calling the non-emergency number 905-825-4777.
