Mississauga Man Charged with Voyeurism
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), has charged a Mississauga man with voyeurism following an incident that occurred at an Oakville Winners.
On July 22, 2026, HRPS officers attended Winners located at 2460 Winston Churchill Blvd, in response to a male who used his cellular phone to record an adult female changing inside a fitting room. The victim confronted the male who fled prior to police arrival.
Members of the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau took carriage of the investigation and were able to identify the suspect.
As a result of the investigation on July 27, 2026, Jeffrey Abou-Mechrek (34) of Mississauga, was arrested in Oakville, and charged with one count of Voyeurism.
Abou-Mechrek was released on an Undertaking with a future court date in Milton.
Investigators are concerned there may be additional victims and a photo of the accused has been attached to this media release.
