Serious Motor Vehicle Collision involving Cyclist - Oakville - May 29th 2026

On May 29th 2026 at approximately 6:51pm, the Halton Regional Police were notified of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a white sedan and a cyclist in the area of Speers Road near St. Augustine Drive in the Town of Oakville.  The involved cyclist, a 43-year-old male was transported to a out of region trauma hospital with serious injuries. Due to the significance of the collision and injuries sustained, the Collision Reconstruction Unit was requested to attend and take carriage of the investigation.  The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
