Serious Single Motor Vehicle Collision - July 5th, 2026

On July 5th 2026 at approximately 12:40pm, the Halton Regional Police were notified of a serious single motor vehicle collision involving a white minivan in the area of North Service Road, east of Brant St in the City of Burlington.  One of the occupants of the vehicle was transported to a out of region trauma hospital with serious injuries. Due to the significance of the collision and injuries sustained, the Collision Reconstruction Unit was requested to attend and take carriage of the investigation.  The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.

Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are requested to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at CRU@haltonpolice.ca or 905-825-4747 ext. 5065. The Collision Reconstruction Unit is also requesting drivers who were in the area at the time of the collision to check their dashcams for any video evidence.
