Break and Enter Investigation in Halton Hills

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a daytime break and enter at a rural residence in Halton Hills.

On Friday, August 14, 2026, at approximately 11:20 a.m., a male suspect attended a rural residence in the area of Number 5 Side Road and Sixth Line in Halton Hills. The suspect knocked on the front door and looked into the backyard. After confirming the home was vacant, the suspect broke into the residence by smashing the locked front door.

The suspect ransacked the home in search of valuables and stole cash and jewelry.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 55 to 65 years old, with a heavy build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark baseball cap, blue shirt and dark pants. (See attached video here..
