Burlington Bank Robbery
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is searching for a male suspect following a bank robbery in Burlington.
On August 20, 2026, at approximately 5:40 p.m. HRPS officers responded to the Bank of Montreal (BMO) located at 519 Brant Street after a lone male entered the bank demanding money.
Upon entering the bank, the suspect jumped the counter and targeted rolls of coin and cash from accessible drawers before fleeing through a rear door and into a dark coloured sedan. BMO staff and a customer were present inside the bank at the time of the robbery.
No weapons were seen or indicated and no physical injuries sustained.
The suspect is described as:
- Male
- White
- Approximately 25 years old
- Short, light coloured or brown hair
- Very yellow “bad” teeth
- Wearing a grey hoodie
Investigators are requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation, including any security or dash cam video from the area around the time of the robbery to contact the 3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2316.
