Police Searching for Pickup Truck in Hit and Run Collision
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a pickup truck and its driver involved in a hit and run collision in Milton.
On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at approximately 4:00 p.m., police responded to a collision at the intersection of Regional Road 25 and Etheridge Avenue. A motorcycle was struck by a grey Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that was making a left turn (westbound) onto Etheridge Avenue from Regional Road 25. The pickup truck fled the scene at a high rate of speed without stopping.
The motorcyclist was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are attempting to identify the pickup truck and its driver. A photo of the vehicle has been attached to this media release. The truck would have sustained damage to the passenger side as a result of the collision. It also has black rims and a roof rack.
