Serial Break in Suspect Arrested

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested a serial break-in suspect and laid a dozen criminal charges in connection to the investigation.

In the evening of September 4, 2026, a suspect broke into an unoccupied residence in the Campbellville area of Milton. The suspect used a ladder to access the residence through a second level patio door and ransacked the home for valuables. During the following investigation, officers with the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau identified a male suspect and determined he was also responsible for multiple break-ins in Cambridge and Elora.  

On September 22, 2026, Robert Cybulski (65) of Kitchener was arrested at his residence. He has been charged with the following:

·         Break and Enter (7 counts)

·         Disguise with Intent (5 counts)

Cybulski was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Investigators have also identified the vehicle used by the accused during these break ins to be a 2016 black Honda Accord.

Investigators believe Cybulski to be responsible for additional break-ins and have attached a photo of him and a stock image of his vehicle to this media release.
