Shooting Incident in Georgetown

Halton Regional Police are currently investigating a shooting incident on James Young Drive in Georgetown (Halton Hills).

At 3 a.m. police responded to reports of gunfire in the area.  The suspect(s) had fled prior to police arrival but officers found that several rounds had been fired into a home and a parked vehicle in that home’s driveway.

There are no reported injuries.

Forensic and Criminal investigators are currently processing the scene.

Anyone with doorbell camera, home security camera or dashcam footage of anything suspicious in this area at or around 3 a.m. are asked to contact Halton Regional Police.
