The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a spike in residential break and enters occurring across Halton Region. Investigators have noted two distinct scenarios where thieves are targeting homes during daylight and evening hours.
On September 4, 2025, the suspect contacted the victim through a fraudulent phone number claiming to be an employee of a financial institution's fraud department.
On August 17, 2025, at approximately 3:10 p.m., the suspects entered Popeyes Supplements, located at 3235 Fairview Street in Burlington.
On August 19, 2025, at approximately 1:35 p.m., the suspects entered Popeyes Supplements, located at 3235 Fairview Street in Burlington.
On September 30, 2025, at approximately 2:05 p.m., the suspect entered the Real Canadian Superstore, located at 201 Oak Walk Drive in Oakville.
On September 16, 2025, the suspect entered the Real Canadian Superstore, located at 820 Main Street East in Milton. He selected more than $200 in property and left without making any attempt to pay.
On September 24, 2025, at approximately 5:15 p.m., the suspects entered Fortinos, located at 2025 Guelph Line in Burlington.
On September 26, 2025, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the suspect entered Snuggle Bugz, located at 1160 Steeles Avenue in Halton Hills.
On August 29, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the suspect entered Nike, located at 13850 Steeles Avenue in Halton Hills.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) are requesting the public’s assistance to identify a suspect who robbed a convenience store in Oakville.
On September 11, 2025, at approximately 1:00 pm the suspect entered the Circle K Convenience store located at 562 Trafalgar Road where he selected and concealed a quantity of grocery items from the store shelves.
