On Friday, January 15, 2021, at approximately 1:20 pm, the Halton Regional Police service responded to a residence on Lakeshore Road West near Whittington Place in Oakville for reports of gun shots in the area.  Due to the proximity of the residence, Appleby College was placed in a hold and secure situation.  Nearby residents were also instructed to shelter in place.

On Thursday January 14, 2021 at approximately 8:20 pm, two males entered the Daisy Mart located at Delrex Boulevard and Mountainview Road, in Georgetown.  The male parties approached the employee and made a demand for money.  A quantity of money was obtained and the male parties ran westbound from the store.

On January 13, 2021 just before 3:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Tobyn Drive and Kilmer Drive in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, D MacLeod (44) of Burlington was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
