The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a series of offensive graffiti incidents in Burlington. Police were contacted on the morning of Sunday, May 9, 2021.
Profane language and slurs were painted with blue spray paint on businesses, residences and bus shelters located on the 2200 – 2400 blocks of New Street. Investigators believe the damage was done sometime overnight from May 8 to May 9.

Burlington Firearm SeizureThe Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made a pair of arrests and laid multiple charges in relation to a lengthy drug investigation. On May 12, 2021, investigators made a pair of arrests in Burlington and seized a loaded firearm, multiple rounds of ammunition and various illegal drugs.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made a pair of arrests and laid multiple charges in relation to a series of vehicle entries that occurred in Oakville.
On May 10, 2021, officers arrested John Timoteo (24) of Thornhill and Sophia Moore (19) of No Fixed Address.
Moore has been charged with the following:
Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
Theft under $5000 (5 counts)
Possession of property obtained by crime Under $5000 (4 counts)

Anthony and MercedesThe Halton Regional Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two teenagers from Burlington.
Investigators are trying to locate Anthony (Tony) Kotowick (15) and Mercedes (Sadie) Oldershaw-Brown (17).
The pair left together and are believed to be somewhere in the Greater Toronto or Hamilton area together. Family and police are concerned for their well-being. Anyone who may have seen them is asked to contact police.
