On May 4, 2021, just after 6:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Millcroft Park and Turnberry Drive in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Aidan Kinlough (19) of Burlington was charged with operation while impaired.

On Tuesday May 4, 2021 at approximately 1730hrs, Halton Regional Police responded to a collision on 5 Sideroad, west of Trafalgar Road, in the Town of Halton Hills. Initial reports from the scene were that a single vehicle had left the roadway and rolled over. Injuries were reported to the occupants of the vehicle.

Halton Regional Police Service officers are on scene at a fatal single motor vehicle collsion at No. 5 SR and Trafalgar Road in Halton Hills. A second occupant in the vehicle has been transported to hospital with minor injuries. No. 5 SR between Sixth Line and Trafalgar Road will remain closed while our Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate. Please avoid the area.

This year, Halton Regional Police Service officers have already responded to 108 suspected overdoses involving either illicit substances, and/or prescription medications. Of those, 24 people did not survive.
