Missing Person: Brianna Roy

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Burlington woman.
Brianna Roy (31) was last seen on April 9, 2025 at approximately 1:30 pm in the area of Palmer Drive and Centennial Drive in Burlington and is known to frequent the Hamilton area.
Brianna is described as:
- Female
- White
- Approximately 5’6” tall, slim build, 110 lbs.
- Short blonde curly hair and hazel eyes
A photo of Brianna is attached.
Police and her family are concerned for her well-being.

Two Arrested and Vehicle Recovered in Burlington Auto Theft Investigation

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made two arrests and laid multiple charges after a vehicle was stolen from a driveway in Burlington.
On April 26, 2025, at 3:30 am two masked suspects in a white sedan attended the driveway of a residence in the area of Upper Middle Road and Appleby Line where they gained access to a Lexus SUV by breaking a window.
One suspect then fled in the stolen Lexus while the second suspect followed in the white sedan.

Bank Investigator Scam. Tips to Help Protect Yourself from Fraud.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) are warning the public of an increase in the “bank investigator” fraud scam that has been occurring throughout the Region.
Since the beginning of 2025 HRPS have received 43 reports involving this type of scam which has resulted in the combined loss of approximately $522,000.
Investigators would like to provide educational information on how the scam is undertaken along with tips on how to protect yourself from opportunistic fraudsters.

Etobicoke Man Charged with Sexual Assault of Youth

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has laid additional charges against the accused in this investigation.
As a result of the original media release (see below), police received information from an additional victim and began a separate investigation in April 2025.
On April 22, 2025, Masoud Abdulla (36) of Etobicoke was arrested in Oakville.
