The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest after a sexual assault in Burlington.
On March 17 at approximately 6:30 am an adult female was sexually assaulted by a male as she boarded a bus on Fairview Street near Walkers Line. The male suspect was exiting the bus at the same time the female was attempting to board. After the assault the male fled the scene on foot.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has charged a Toronto Police Service (TPS) officer with a firearms offence.
On Thursday, March 13, 2025, the HRPS responded to a call for service in Milton regarding a report that an off-duty TPS officer had accidentally discharged their police-issued firearm. No one was injured.

At approximately 2:21am on the 8th of March 2025, the Halton Regional Police Service was notified of a single motor vehicle collision that had occurred on Regional Road 25 south of Derry Road in the Town of Milton. One occupant was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest and laid a charge after an indecent act on a GO Train.
On February 7, 2025, a small group of adult females were riding the Lakeshore West line from Union Station (Toronto) westbound to Burlington. The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating an early morning shooting at a residence in Georgetown.
On Monday March 3, 2025, between 4:00 am and 4:30 am several gunshots were fired at a detached residence in the area of Highway 7 and Trafalgar Road. Fortunately, no one was injured and the shots struck a window at the front of the home. Police believe the shots were fired from Highway 7 towards the home.
