On June 28, 2025, at approximately 12:25 a.m., an adult male was shot while seated inside his parked vehicle outside Hashtag Garden Modern Kitchen and Lounge, located at 177 Cross Avenue in Oakville.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a sexual assault that took place on the Sixteen Mile Creek Heritage Trail near Skyvalley Crescent in Oakville.
