Crime Stoppers of Halton has launched a new campaign focused on targeting Human Trafficking crimes across the Greater, Golden Horseshoe Area. 

Human trafficking is the act of recruiting and exerting control over someone's movements with the intent to exploit them, most commonly through forced labor or sexual exploitation. The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested and charged an adult male in Milton.

On March 23, 2025 at 11:30 pm a male suspect attended the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 6951 Derry Road and approached a female inquiring about a product in the store.
