Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region



On November 30, 2018 just after 10:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of 15 Side Road and Regional Road 25 in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Daniel Bondarevski (32) was charged with driving while ability impaired.

On December 1, 2018 just after 2:00 am, Halton Police officers initiated a traffic stop in area of Maple Avenue and Elgin Street in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Melanie Vargas (27) of Oakville was charged with driving while ability impaired and driving over 80mgs.

On December 1, 2018 just before 5:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Headon Road and Upper Middle Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Jeremy Clark (36) of Burlington was charged with driving while ability impaired and driving over 80mgs.

On December 1, 2018 just after 11:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Neyagawa Boulevard and River Glen Boulevard in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Andrew Currie (38) of Toronto was charged with care or control while impaired and care or control over 80mgs.

On December 2, 2018 just before 3:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Upper Middle Road and Upland Drive in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Dylan Parton (46) of Burlington was charged with driving while ability impaired and driving over 80mgs.

On December 2, 2018 just after 3:00 am, Halton Police officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of Upper Middle Road and Upland Drive in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Bradley Williams (27) of Burlington was charged with driving over 80mgs.

On December 2, 2018 just before 6:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Harvester Road and Appleby Line in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Andre Finn (20) of Burlington was charged with driving while ability impaired and driving over 80mgs.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.

Please be reminded that all persons charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
