***UPDATE*** Person to Locate: Police seeking public assistance

Halton Regional Police officers were actively searching for Mr. Bahadur Sanghera in the City of Hamilton, when there was a report of a possible sighting from an on-duty City of Hamilton transit operator. Halton Regional Police officers immediately attended the area and confirmed identity. Mr. Sanghera appeared to be sound and well; however as a precaution was medically assessed and later cleared by Hamilton E.M.S.

The Halton Regional Police Service would like to thank all members of the public for the tips and information that ultimately assisted in locating Mr. Sanghera.

The Halton Regional Police Service is looking to locate 76 year old Bahadur ( goes by nickname Sunny ) Sanghera, as we are concerned for his well-being.

Description (see attached photo):

  • male, 5'6, 110 lbs, brown eyes
  • short black & grey hair
  • A large full beard predominately grey
  • thought to be wearing blue jeans, blue T-shirt, a red baseball cap and running shoes.

Sanghera was last in the seen in the  area of Cumberland and Prospect, Burlington in the early afternoon of July 4th.
