Voyeurism Suspect to Identify

The Halton Regional Police Service is asking for the public's help in identifying a male suspect (see attached photos) who committed the offence of voyeurism in the town of Halton Hills.

On June 26, 2019, at approximately 3:00 pm, a male suspect was observed walking in the Winners Homesense store, located on Guelph Street, in Georgetown. The suspect was holding cell phones and periodically stopped near female shoppers to take photos up their skirts or dresses while holding the phone low and pointing it upwards.

A second incident was also reported to police and took place at the same location on July 13 between 1:30 – 2:30 pm. The suspect in both incidents is believed to be the same person.

The male suspect is described as being 5'8" to 6 feet tall, with a small or slight build, in his early to mid-twenties. He has a pale, possibly light olive, complexion, and short brown hair. On both reported dates, he was observed to be wearing a light coloured or light khaki shirt.

On the first date, June 26, he was observed wearing light coloured baggy shorts with large pockets on both sides.

On the second date, July 13, he was observed wearing dark pants or shorts, a hat (unknown colour), and a black backpack over both shoulders.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Sarah McCullagh of the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4747 ext. 2419.
