Serious motorcycle collision in Milton

At approximately 9:03pm on the 31st of August 2019 the Halton Regional Police Service received reports of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Derry Road and Guelph Line in the Town of Milton. The collision involved an eastbound KTM motorcycle driven by a 48 year old Burlington man and a westbound Volkswagen Golf driven by a 42 year old male resident of Milton. The circumstances of the collision are under investigation. The motorcycle rider was ejected and suffered life threatening injuries. He was transported to Hamilton General Hospital by paramedic services where he is in critical condition. Due to the severity of the resulting injuries, the collision reconstruction unit has taken carriage of the investigation.
