Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region

‚ÄčOn October 25, 2019, just after 4:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Walkers Line and Upper Middle Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Mukhtiar Dhadda (46) of Burlington was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 26, 2019, just after 2:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Ravine Gate and Stationmaster Lane in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, David MacFarlane (55) of Ottawa was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 26, 2019, just after 11:00 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Cornwall Road and Allan Street in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Kaarle Ottonen (52) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 27, 2019, just before 2:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Walkers Line and North Service Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Ravineet Singh (30) of Etobicoke was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 27, 2019 just before 3:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Guelph Line and Colling Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Gwendoline Little (48) of Milton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 27, 2019, just after 5:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Bronte Road and Speers Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Murray Olmstead (56) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 28, 2019, just before 1:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Plains Road East and King Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Tiffany Campbell (36) of Waterdown was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 29, 2019, just after 6:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Burnhamthorpe Road West and Fourth Line in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Owain Robinson (49) of Thorold was charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
