Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region

​On November 15, 2019, just after 5:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Appleby Line and Upper Middle Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, David Volk (55) of Burlington was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On November 15, 2019, just after 11:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Fourth Line and Speers Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Spencer Douglas (22) of Millgrove was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On November 16, 2019, just after 12:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Martin Street and Steels Avenue in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Kolson Restivo (18) of Milton was charged with operation while impaired.

On November 16, 2019, just after 10:30 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Speers Road and St. Augustine Drive in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Blake Henry (21) of Scarborough was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On November 16, 2019, just before 11:30 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Upper Middle Road and Walkers Line in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Inkwon Choi (51) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On November 17, 2019, just before 2:30 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sixteen Mile Drive and Mistletoe Gardens in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Peter Deak (51) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On November 17, 2019, just before 9:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Third Line and the QEW in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Gayle Claus-Milmine (61) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
