On November 18, 2019 just after 11:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Whiteoaks Boulevard and Freeman Avenue in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Siyuan Yu (23) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired.
On November 19, 2019, just before 2:00 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Dorval Drive and Lakeshore Boulevard West in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Justin Bryan (28) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On November 19, 2019, just after 1:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Main Street East and Ontario Street South in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Karanvir Singh (22) of Brampton was charged with operation while impaired.
On November 19, 2019, just after 1:30 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Third Line and Rebecca Street in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Jakub Krap (29) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On November 19, 2019 just after 7:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of McDonald Boulevard and Division Street in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Trevor Prueter (48) of Halton Hills was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On November 20, 2019 just before 11:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Plains Road West and Waterdown Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Brittany Richardson (32) of Milton was charged with operation while impaired.
On November 22, 2019, just after 12:30 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Ironstone Drive and Appleby Line in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Matthew Stimac (43) of Burlington was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.
Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
