Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region

‚ÄčOn December 13, 2019, just before 3:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Walkers Line and Harvester Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Lynda Rogers (75) of Stoney Creek was charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand.

On December 14, 2019, just after 2:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Ontario Street North in Milton. As a result of an investigation, James Grdosic (39) of Burlington was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 14, 2019, just after 2:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Ontario Street North in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Leah Basdeo (24) of Bolton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 14, 2019, just before 7:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Tennyson Drive and Tansley Drive in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Matthew Klinger (40) of Burlington was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 15, 2019, just after 1:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Guelph Line and Upper Middle Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Adrian Nolan (47) of Rockwood was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 15, 2019, just after 2:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Guelph Line and Campbellville Road in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Simran Pruthi (42) of Caledon East was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 15, 2019, just after 1:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Yates Drive and Louis St. Laurent Avenue in Milton. As a result of an investigation, William Hunter (43) of Milton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
