At approximately 5:10am on the 24th of December, 2019, the Halton Regional Police Service was notified of a single motor vehicle collision that had occurred at the intersection of Westoak Trails Bv and Proudfoot Trail in the Town of Oakville. The initial investigation indicated that a Volkswagen Golf was travelling westbound on Westoak Trails Bv near Proudfoot Trail when it left the roadway and collided with a series of wooden posts. A 17 year old driver and 17 year old passenger were initially transported to hospital with serious injuries; however police received further update that both parties had been treated and released from hospital this afternoon.
