Three Vehicle Collision - Trafalgar Road/No. 5 Side Road, Halton Hills

On Saturday December 28th, 2019 the Halton Regional Police Service responded to a report of a serious injury collision, involving three motor vehicles near the intersection of Trafalgar Road and No. 5 Side Road in the Town of Halton Hills.

At approximately 11:26am, a 18 year old male resident of Oakville was operating a 2018 Subaru WRX northbound on Trafalgar Road when the vehicle struck a 2006 Toyota Corolla from behind as it was attempting to pull into a private driveway.  The Corolla was being operated by a 27 year old female resident of Mississauga.  As a result of the collision, the Subaru entered the southbound lane and was subsequently struck by a southbound 2015 Toyota Tacoma.  The Tacoma was being operated by a 36 year old male resident of Halton Hills.  Early medically assessments deemed the male driver of the Subaru, the female driver of the Corolla and a female passenger in the Tacoma to possibly be suffering from serious injuries.  At this point each of them were transported to local hospitals.

Due to the nature of the injuries, the Halton Regional Police Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to assist in the investigation.  Further assessments were conducted of all three identified hospitalized individuals at which point their medical statuses were eventually updated to having suffered from non-life threatening injuries.  The scene was held for approximately 6 hours for the at-scene collision investigation and extensive roadway cleanup.

Witnesses to the collision are asked to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905 825-4747 extension 5065.  Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers "See Something?  Hear Something?  Know Something?  Contact Crime Stoppers" at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or through the web at www.haltoncrimestoppers.ca
