Burlington Drug Investigation Leads to Charges

On February 12, 2020, members of the Halton Regional Police Service – Drug and Human Trafficking Unit completed a drug trafficking investigation in Burlington.

Eric Law (49) of Burlington was arrested and charged with the following offences:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – GHB

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Clonazepam

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Codeine

Possession - Methamphetamine

Breach Probation

A Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant was executed at a Burlington residence and a quantity of drugs were seized including:  Fentanyl, GHB, Codeine, Methamphetamine and Clonazepam.  

Law was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
