Update: Missing Woman in Burlington Located

Claudette Petschar has been located safely. The Halton Regional Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance and cooperation.

Police also ask that media take down and remove any pictures of Petschar.

***ORIGINAL RELEASE*** Missing Woman in Burlington

Halton Regional Police Service officers in Burlington are asking for the public's help in locating Claudette Petschar.

Petschar was last seen in the area of Cavendish Drive in Burlington at approximately 12:45 pm today (May 4, 2020). Police are also asking any residents in the area to have a look in their backyard and check any sheds on their property.

Petschar is 69 years old and has brown skin, with brown hair worn in a ponytail (see attached photo). She is 5'3" tall with a thin build. She is wearing light blue jeans with a white top and either red or green jacket. She is also wearing brown slippers and carrying a brown purse. Petshcar is believed to be travelling on foot, and does not know the area well.

Police have reason to be concerned for her safety and would like to locate her as soon as possible.
