Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region

On October 30, 2020, just after 1:30 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 15 Side Road and Fourth Line in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Ibrahim Alimoglu (23) of Mississauga was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 30, 2020, just after 7:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Sixth Line and Martin Street in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Roger Ma (36) of Mississauga was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 30, 2020, just after 11:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Side Road 17 in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Jaibeer Ghangas (32) of Terra Cotta was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On November 1, 2020, just after 12:00 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Harvester Road and Burloak Drive in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Rashpal Singh (26) of Burlington was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On November 1, 2020, just before 12:30 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Morden Road and Speers Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Richardo Williams (32) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On November 1, 2020, just before 8:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Upper Middle Road West and Bronte Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Michal Sadomski (41) of Woodbridge was charged with operation while impaired and failure or refusal to comply with demand.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
