COMING FALL 2025

In partnership with Sheridan College, the Pathway to Success Program aims to offer a comprehensive mentorship opportunity. This program goes beyond frontline policing; it explores a variety of civilian roles and career opportunities within the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS). Aimed at youth entering Grade 12, the program is designed to support students as they prepare for post-secondary education and explore different career paths within the HRPS. 

The Pathway to Success Program not only provides education and resources; it offers participants access to multiple mentors, including a member of our Youth Team and the HRPS Cadet Program.

This mentorship structure ensures that participants feel supported both during and outside program hours. By building relationships with their mentors, participants will receive advice and guidance, especially during times when they are making critical decisions about their future education and career paths.

Participation Criteria:

  • Must be a resident of Halton region
  • Starting Grade 12 in September 2025
  • Available to attend the formalized sessions
  • Possess a positive attitude
  • Be a youth from an underserved community facing barriers to higher education and personal growth
