Region of Peel – As a result of a multijurisdictional joint forces investigation, investigators from Peel Regional Police, Halton Regional Police, and Waterloo Regional Police, have charged a British Columbia man in a series of historical sexual assaults on children.
The investigation, known as Project Woodland, related to historical sexual assaults on children occurring from 1992 to 1995 in the involved services respective regions.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest and laid charges in relation to an Internet Child Exploitation investigation involving a former Educational Assistant previously employed by the Halton District School Board.
On March 7, 2024, Cameron Ivens (42) of Milton was arrested.
He has been charged with the following:

Investigation by the 3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau leads to the arrest of an auto theft suspect.

Theft From Vehicle Leads to Arrest of Georgetown Resident

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested and charged a suspect in relation to a theft which occurred on January 24th 2024.
On March 5, 2024, HRPS investigators arrested and charged Christopher Dayfoot (38) of Georgetown with Theft Under $5000.
These charges are in relation to a theft from a vehicle that took place in the area of Ontario Street and College Street, Georgetown.
Dayfoot was released from police custody and is to appear at Milton Court on April 15th 2024.
