On Monday May 7th, 2018 the Halton Regional Police Service responded to a report of a serious injury collision, involving two motor vehicles near the intersection of Regional Road 25 and 15 side road, in the Town of Halton Hills.
At approximately 4:40pm, a 38 year old male resident of Hamilton was operating a 2015 Hino cube van southbound on Regional Road 25, south of 15 side road when it came into contact with a 2014 Kia Forte. The Kia was being operated by a 25 year old female resident of Toronto.
Early medically assessments deemed the female to possibly be suffering from life-altering injuries. Due to the nature of the injuries, the Halton Regional Police Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to assist in the investigation. Further assessments were conducted of the female and her medical status was eventually updated to having suffered from only minor injuries. The male driver of the cube van suffered minor injuries. The scene was held for approximately 7 hours for the at-scene collision investigation and subsequent scene clean-up.
