Male Arrested for Theft Spree

On January 19, 2019, members of the Halton Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau concluded an investigation involving a male who was responsible for 9 separate thefts dating back to October 2018.

Offices and businesses in Oakville were targeted over the course of the crime spree. The male would target small items such as cash boxes, cell phones, employee purses and other personal items. On many occasions, credit cards taken from wallets and purses were later used to complete several fraudulent transactions across the Greater Toronto Area.

Charged and arrested:

Kenneth Levy (32) of Mississauga:

  • 4 counts of Theft Under $5000.00
  • 6 counts of Fraud Under $5000.00
  • 6 counts of Unauthorized Use of Credit Card
  • 7 counts of Fail to Comply with Probation
