The Halton Regional Police Service would like to alert members of the public regarding a series of home entries that have occurred in the Joshua Creek area of Oakville. There have been three attempted entries and one confirmed entry dating back to April 23, 2019.
The incidents have occurred between the hours of 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. These incidents have occurred on Glenashton Drive, Granby Drive, Kittridge Road, and Glenbrook Avenue. In all four incidents, the suspects have targeted the front doors of the home. Three incidents involved the use of a pry tool and the fourth entailed the suspect trying to kick in the front door.
Eyewitness information and neighbouring cameras have identified a male and female working together to commit these crimes. In one incident, a homeowner was present at the time of the entry. When confronted by the owner, the suspect immediately fled the residence to an awaiting white sedan being driven by a female driver. The homeowner was not injured in anyway during this incident.
The male suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 20 years of age, 5'10" tall, heavy build, wearing a dark sport style jacket, jeans, and a dark coloured baseball hat. The suspect was carrying a small metal crow bar and was wearing an orange buff (neckwear) covering his face.
There is no description available for the female driver.
Anyone with further information is asked to contact Acting Detective John McMullan at 905-825-4747 ext. 2217.
