Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region

On August 2, 2019, just after 6:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Guelph Line and Davidson Court in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Matthew Church (40) of Grimsby was charged with operation while impaired.

On August 3, 2019 just before 2:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Plains Road East and Cooke Boulevard in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Lucas Faulkenham (34) of Hamilton was charged with operation while impaired.

On August 3, 2019 just after 8:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Brant Street and Upper Middle Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Ryan Dafoe (44) of Burlington was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On August 4, 2019, just after 12:30 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Walkers Line and Country Club Drive in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Thomas Wilson (32) of Hamilton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On August 4, 2019, just after 7:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Steeles Avenue and Hornby Road in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, G-Randolph Howden (64) of Halton Hills was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On August 5, 2019, just after 1:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Dundas Street West and Neyagawa Boulevard in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Thomas Nguyen (38) of Burlington was charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand.

On August 5, 2019, just before 1:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Farmstead Drive and Ruhl Drive in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Andre Lewis (36) of Woodbridge was charged with operation while impaired.

On August 5, 2019, just before 2:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Walkers Line and Upper Middle Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, James Gagnon (21) of Burlington was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On August 5, 2019, just before 9:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Costigan Road and Miller Drive in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Taylor McKee (19) of Milton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
