The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) are searching for four suspects after an attempted bank robbery in Oakville.

On July 26, 2025, at approximately 12:20 pm four suspects entered the CIBC branch located at 511 Maple Grove Drive where they confronted a bank employee and demanded cash. Finding no cash was kept on site the suspects stole the employee’s wallet and jewelry, exited the bank and fled in a dark coloured SUV. During the robbery one suspect was observed with a handgun tucked into his waistband while another suspect brandished a crowbar.

As a result of an altercation with the suspects the employee suffered a minor physical injury.

All four suspects are described as male, 18 to 25 years old, wearing face masks and hoodies.

The HRPS is attempting to identify the suspects and suspect vehicle and is requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation, including any security or dash cam video from the area of Maple Grove Drive and Cornwall Road between the hours of 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
