Three suspects are facing multiple charges after twelve stolen vehicles were recovered from a rural property south of Milton.
On July 11, 2024 officers with the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) Organized Crime Unit identified a recently stolen vehicle from Peel Region at a rural address in Milton. HRPS Organized Crime Investigators subsequently executed a Criminal Code Search warrant arresting three individuals onsite for their alleged involvement in the operation. As a result, 12 stolen vehicles in various stages of being disassembled were recovered.
Haider Ameer Khan (25), of Brampton has been charged with the following:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 (12 Counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 – Trafficking
Shehroz Nadeem (26), of Mississauga has been charged with the following:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 (12 Counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 - Trafficking
Jaskaran Singh (24), of Grimsby has been charged with the following:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 (12 Counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 – Trafficking
All three males have since been released on bail with an upcoming court date scheduled for August 26th in Milton Court.
Khan had also been subject to a prior release order at the time of his arrest for similar offences.

Tips to assist in deterring auto theft:
- Park your vehicle in a locked garage
- Block the exit of a potential target vehicle with a second vehicle parked behind it
- Install an on-board diagnostic blocker/protector
- Use of a steering wheel lock device
- Home security cameras on the exterior of the residence
- Install a kill switch in your vehicle
