On August 25th 2025, the Halton Regional Police Service responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Kerns Rd and Dundas Street in the City of Burlington. The collision occurred shortly before 8:52pm.

The initial investigation indicated that an eastbound Honda motorcycle driven by a 19 year old man from Waterdown collided with a westbound Ford SUV driven by a 56 year old man from Milton. The SUV was attempting to turn left onto Kerns Road when the collision occurred. Two other vehicles were damaged at the intersection by the collision between the motorcycle and SUV. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. No other drivers required medical attention. The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation.
