At approximately 2:40pm on the 27th of July 2025, the Halton Regional Police Service was notified of a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Steeles Avenue and Bronte St in the Town of Milton. The initial investigation indicates that the collision occurred between a Suzuki motorcycle operated by a 27 year old man, and a Nissan SUV driven by a 59 year old man, both from Milton. A third motor vehicle, a Honda sedan, was damaged as the result of the primary collision.
The motorcycle had been proceeding eastbound through the intersection while the westbound SUV was making a left turn to go south on Bronte St when they collided. The motorcycle rider died at the scene. The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation. Among other factors, speed and right of way will be the focus of the investigation.
