Quotes:
“For the past 50 years, our Service has published annual reports so that Halton residents have timely and transparent information on the work we are doing every day to ensure their safety and well-being. We are exceedingly proud of the progress we have made, together with those we serve and our valued partners, to address crime and promote well-being in our region, and will continue to devote the resources needed to ensure ours remains the safest large municipality in Canada for years to come.
We thank the Halton Police Board, led by Chair Jeff Knoll, for its ongoing support of our efforts and our people. We also thank the residents of Halton for entrusting us with their safety, and for continuing to share your unique and important perspectives with us. Our unending work to prevent and respond to crime and to hold those accountable for it to the extent possible would not be possible without each of you.”

“Reflecting on 2024, I am deeply proud of how the Halton Regional Police Service rose to meet new challenges while upholding our longstanding reputation as a leader in public safety. Despite a shifting landscape marked by emerging threats and changing community needs, our commitment to good governance, transparency, and collaboration has delivered real results.
Last year, we saw the positive impact of targeted policing, innovation, and strong partnerships—not only in maintaining Halton’s standing as Canada’s safest large municipality, but also in driving substantial progress on critical issues like auto theft, human trafficking, and intimate partner violence. Every achievement is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our members and the invaluable trust our community places in us.
Guided by our Strategic Plan and the shared vision of a safer, more inclusive Halton, we look ahead with confidence and purpose, knowing that together we are building a strong foundation for the next 50 years of policing excellence.”
