
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested and charged a civilian employee following a criminal investigation.
On November 5, 2025, Ken Mackenzie (42), of Guelph, was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Fraud Over $5,000
- Obtaining Property by Deception
It is alleged that the accused used social media accounts to pose as a female modeling scout in order to obtain intimate images from adult victim(s). The accused also falsely promised payment to the victim(s), which was never provided.
The social media account (Instagram) used by the accused was @stephy_rk. Investigators believe there may be additional victims and anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Todd Martin or Detective Jody Gregory of the HRPS Regional Investigative Services at 905-825-4777, ext. 8967.
Mackenzie is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Milton on Monday, December 1, 2025.

As this matter is now before the courts, the HRPS will not be providing further comment.
