The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested and charged an individual in connection with multiple indecent act investigations in Georgetown.

On Sunday, September 14, 2025, police were called to a walking trail in Georgetown after a female victim witnessed an adult male committing an indecent act on a park bench near the trail. Officers attended the area, located the suspect, and placed him under arrest.

Investigators have since linked the same suspect to four other incidents in the same area, which occurred between September 2 and September 14, 2025.

As a result, 19-year-old Kyq Montes of Georgetown has been charged with:

  • Five counts of Indecent Act

Investigators believe there may be additional victims in connection with similar offences.

It is important to note that the occurrences followed a consistent pattern and in each of these incidents the accused did not approach or physically touch any of the victims.
