The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest in response to a male committing an indecent act in Oakville.
On August 11, 2025, a male suspect rang the doorbell of at least two homes on Pelee Boulevard in Oakville. When no one answered, he committed an indecent act while facing the doorbell camera.
On August 13, 2025 investigators positively identified the suspect as Luke Hird (25) of No Fixed Address.
Hird has been charged with two counts of Indecent Act and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
HRPS would like to thank the public and media partners for their assistance in this investigation.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an indecent act investigation in Oakville.
On August 11, 2025, a male suspect rang the doorbell of at least two homes on Pelee Boulevard in Oakville. When no one answered, he committed an indecent act while facing the doorbell camera.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and that the suspect may have attended other homes in the area.
The suspect is described as follows (see attached photos):
- White male, mid-30s
- Medium-length brown hair
- Wearing a blue T-shirt and white shorts
