
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested and charged a male after an adult female was sexually assaulted on a Burlington GO Train.
On November 14, 2025, at approximately 8:45 p.m. an adult female was seated onboard a west bound GO Train approaching the Appleby GO Station when she was approached by an adult male who was behaving in an erratic manner. The male initiated a conversation with the female during which time he grabbed and attempted to kiss her. The female quickly pushed the male away, prompting him to retreat to another area of the passenger car.
The victim did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of the assault.
The incident was reported to police where members of the HRPS Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit initiated an investigation in an effort to identify the male.
As a result of the investigation, on November 26, 2025, Bruce Pawlowsky (41) of No Fixed Address was located and arrested in Whitby Ontario. The accused has been charged with the following offences:
- Sexual Assault
- Breach of Probation (4 Counts)
Pawlowsky has been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.

Sexual assault is any touching of another person without their consent where the touching is of a sexual nature, or where the sexual integrity of the victim is violated. A sexual assault can range from unwanted touching to sexual assault involving penetration.
There is no statute of limitation when it comes to reporting a sexual assault. This means that no matter how long ago the sexual assault happened, you can still report it to police for investigation.
