Update:

An updated image of Troy has been obtained (photo attached) showing Troy on foot on January 11th, 2026, at 3:30pm in the area of Guelph Street and Armstrong Avenue in Georgetown.

Troy is observed wearing a green winter jacket, beige pants, light coloured winter boots, a grey baseball cap and sunglasses.

Anyone with information about Troy or his possible location is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905 825 4777.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Georgetown man.

Troy Leyburne (48) of Georgetown was last seen the afternoon of January 10th, 2026 in the area of Elizabeth Street and Ewing Street in Georgetown. 

Troy is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • Approximately 6’1” tall, 200 lbs. Athletic build
  • Blue eyes, salt and pepper hair and beard

A photo of Troy is attached.

Police and his family are concerned for his well-being.

Anyone with information about Troy or his possible location is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905 825 4777.
