
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) believe there may be additional victims following a sexual assault investigation in Oakville.
In October 2025 the HRPS began an investigation into allegations of sexual assault committed against two female youths while they were visiting the accused’s residence in Oakville.
On October 22, 2025 the accused was arrested and a Criminal Code Search warrant executed at the accused’s residence, resulting in the seizure of numerous items of evidentiary value.
As a result of the investigation Calogero “Carlo” Triassi (46), of Oakville, has been charged with the following offences that occurred between 2020-2025:
- Sexual Assault (3 Counts)
- Sexual Interference (3 Counts)
- Invitation to Sexual Touching (2 Counts)
- Make Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material
- Possess Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material
Triassi was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
Investigators are concerned there may be additional victims. Anyone with information regarding this investigation, or anyone who has been victimized by Triassi is asked to contact the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-825-4777 ext. 8970.
Sexual assault is any touching of another person without their consent where the touching is of a sexual nature, or where the sexual integrity of the victim is violated. A sexual assault can range from unwanted touching to sexual assault involving penetration.
There is no statute of limitation when it comes to reporting a sexual assault. This means that no matter how long ago the sexual assault happened, you can still report it to police for investigation.
