The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made a pair of arrests in relation to a robbery that took place at the Mapleview Shopping Centre in Burlington.

On May 2, 2025, at approximately 6:00 pm a group of male suspects entered the Nike store located in the mall and stole a number of clothing items and fled. The suspects were chased by security at the mall and eventually confronted as they were getting into a car in the parking lot.

At this point, one of the suspects used bear spray on the mall employee and the group was able to flee in the vehicle. The security officer was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

HRPS investigators determined the vehicle to have been stolen out of Hamilton and worked to identify the suspects.

On May 10, 2025, Tyson Larsh (19) of Hamilton was arrested in Hamilton. He has been charged with one count of Robbery. A 17-year-old male of Hamilton was also arrested in Hamilton and has been charged with one count of Robbery.

The HRPS is still investigating and working to identify and arrest the four outstanding suspects involved in this crime.
