Shortly before 5:44am on November 12th 2025 the Halton Regional Police Service responded to a serious motor vehicle collision in the City of Burlington.  The initial investigation indicates that a Commercial Motor Vehicle was travelling southbound on Appleby Line, south of Britannia Rd in the City of Burlington.  The Commercial Motor Vehicle departed the travelled portion of the roadway, entering the ditch on the west side and rolling over onto the passenger side.  The lone male driver was transported to out of region trauma hospital where he remains in serious condition.  

Appleby Line was closed for approximately six hours for investigation and removal of the Commercial Motor Vehicle and road cleanup.
